Switching from Mailchimp.

Moving usually takes an afternoon. Studio members get help with every step.

  1. 1

    Export your audience

Download your contacts from Mailchimp or Klaviyo as a CSV.

  2. 2

    Connect your domain

Add the DNS records Relay shows you. It checks them and tells you when you’re ready.

  3. 3

    Import and sync

Upload your CSV and connect Shopify. Unsubscribes come across as unsubscribes.

  4. 4

    Send your first email

Rebuild your template with blocks or paste in your HTML, then send a test.

Questions.

When can I start using Relay?

Relay opens to a small group of shops first, then to more people in waves. Everyone on the waitlist hears about it before it’s announced anywhere else.

What does the founding price mean?

Early members lock in the launch price for their plan. It stays with your account for as long as you stay on that plan.

Can I bring my list from Mailchimp or Klaviyo?

Yes. Export your audience as a CSV and import it into Relay. Subscribed and unsubscribed contacts keep their status.

Do I need a Shopify store?

No. Creator works for any blog, newsletter or business. Shopify adds product grids, purchase segments, revenue in reports and the after-purchase automations.

Do I need my own domain?

Yes. Your emails come from your own address, like [email protected]. Relay checks your DNS records and tells you exactly what to add.

Is there a limit on contacts or sends?

Plans will be sized for small businesses, from a few hundred contacts to tens of thousands. Exact limits come with pricing.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Move up or down whenever you need to. Your lists, designs and reports come with you.

Can I leave whenever I want?

Yes. Export your contacts and reports anytime. There’s no contract and no fee to leave.

You’ll get one email when Relay opens. Nothing else unless you ask for it.
